What you actually want

Kerb a wheel and the whole car looks tired.
Make it look new again.

The Worry

"Will the finish peel off in twelve months?"

Cheap alloy refurbs cut corners on prep and primer. The wheel looks great driving home — then six months later the lacquer starts lifting at the edges, often worse than the original kerb damage. By the time you notice, the shop's moved on and so has your money.

Our Standard

Properly prepped, properly painted, properly lacquered.

Same paint and lacquer systems we use on full vehicle bodywork. Wheels are stripped, treated, primed with the right primer for the alloy, painted, and finished with a UV-stable lacquer that won't lift in a year. If you're doing one wheel we'll colour-match to the others so the set still looks like a set.

Common questions

Stuff people actually ask.

How long until you reply to my quote?

Usually the same working day (Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm). We're a small family-run team — we read every form ourselves and reply with a real quote, not an automated estimate. Occasionally during busy weeks it might be the next working day.

What's the difference between a standard refurb and diamond cut?

Standard refurb = strip, repair, prime, repaint, lacquer. Comes back looking new in a solid colour or finish of your choice. Diamond cut = the wheel is mounted on a lathe and a thin layer is machined off the face, leaving the bright "shiny silver" machined look that lots of modern OEM wheels have from factory. Diamond cut costs more and there's a limit to how many times it can be re-cut on the same wheel (each cut removes metal), so it isn't always the right answer. We'll tell you which suits your wheel honestly.

Do you accept insurance work?

Yes — all major UK insurers. Fault or non-fault. We handle the insurer for you, so you don't have to chase. Pop down to see us if you want advice on a claim before going through your insurer.

Are you the cheapest in the area?

Honestly, no. We're not trying to be. We use industry-leading paint and lacquer systems, and our spray booth and process are set up for finishes that hold up long-term. We're competitively priced for the quality — but if cheapest is the priority, we're probably not the right fit.

Can you change the colour of my alloys?

Yes — any colour, any finish. Gloss black, satin black, anthracite, bronze, gunmetal, custom paint codes — whatever you want. If you're thinking of a colour but unsure how it'll look on your car, send us the year/make/model and we can usually point you at examples we've done. Just bear in mind that if you change the colour, you'd typically do all four to match.

Where are you located?

Unit 22, The Tanneries, Brockhampton Lane, Havant, PO9 1JB. Easy to get to from Portsmouth, Waterlooville, Emsworth, Fareham, Hayling Island, Cosham, Bedhampton — anywhere in the Havant/Portsmouth area.

Do I have to do all four, or can you do just the kerbed one?

Single wheels are no problem and often the right call if only one's kerbed — we'll colour-match to the existing set so it doesn't stand out. The exception is if the existing wheels are already faded or oxidised; a fresh single wheel can look obviously newer than the others. We'll be honest with you when we see the photos: sometimes one wheel is the right call, sometimes you're better off doing the set.
